If you progress to the next stage, an Austra Health consultant will contact you to organize a time to meet. If you are overseas, this can be arranged via telephone. At the meeting, you will need to provide the following documentation:
- Proof of ID
- Your Registration Certificate (AHPRA)
- Your original qualification
- Proof of any additional nursing qualifications
- Proof of ‘years of service
- Your banking details

- Your superannuation fund details
- Proof of mandatory training (Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Management Procedures or Manual Handling) if completed in last 12 months (refer to Step 3)
You will also be required to complete a drug calculation test.
Step 3 – Training & Induction
If you have not completed your Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Management Procedures, or Manual Handling training in the last 12 months, you will be required to complete the updated training before you are eligible to work.
