Erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as the consistent inability to maintain an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.
It’s one of the most common sexual dysfunctions that people with penises around the world experience. A 2019 review suggests that anywhere between 3% and 76.5% of the world’s male population experiences ED — especially as they get older.
BlueChew is a monthly subscription-based service that provides discreet chewable versions of sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil — all commonly prescribed ED medications. These tablets arrive by mail in a predetermined quantity and don’t require an in-person visit to a doctor or pharmacy.
Read on to learn how BlueChew’s subscription service works, some pros and cons to keep in mind, and how BlueChew compares in price with other ED medications.
A note on language
At Austra Health, we respect and acknowledge an individual’s sex, gender, and sexual orientation. Throughout this article, we are using the term ‘men’ and ‘male’ as the sex assigned at birth as most studies we source use these terms. However, this article pertains to anyone who has a penis.

BlueChew is an online subscription service that delivers ED medication within the United States.
According to the BlueChew website, the company is designed for men who:
- can’t tolerate commercially available pills
- don’t want to visit a doctor in person
- want to have more confidence in bed
- have a hard time swallowing pills
When you sign up for the subscription, you’re connected to a licensed medical professional who provides a digital consultation to learn more about your symptoms and medical history.
If ED treatment is approved by that medical professional, a prescription will be written for one of the medications that BlueChew offers.
You can choose from four monthly subscription plans ranging in price from $20 to $120. You also have three medication options — sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil — which come to you in the form of a chewable tablet.
Each month, BlueChew ships ED medication right to your door in the quantity you select. You can choose between four and 34 pills per month.
BlueChew sells chewable tablets of sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil.
