What is the Company Behind Relief Factor?
Relief factor is a joint pain relief product that is available for purchase online. The product works because it provides the body with the necessary nutrients to protect itself from inflammation-causing agents.
According to the manufacturers, a team of doctors developed this product. Their main aim was to provide a natural solution to the millions of people forced to take NSAIDs to relieve their joint pain problems.
The company behind this product is known as Promedev, and it’s a subsidiary of Longevity Medical Clinic.
How does Relief Factor work?
Relief Factor is rich in inflammatory agents that work to reduce swelling. It also contains antioxidants that boost the body’s immune system. Together, these ingredients work to eliminate muscle and joint pain.
With its drug-free formula, this supplement may be effective in its mode of action. Additionally, these ingredients have been clinically tested to ensure quality and safety.
Therefore, the Relief Factor can support painful and ailing joints that result from inflammation.
The product restores the body’s ability to protect itself long after the body has stopped producing inflammation-fighting agents.
Relief Factor doesn’t work overnight to give you healing benefits but works long-term. You should allow at least five weeks for the product to function well because it takes time to build up your system.

Relief Factor Ingredients – Are They Safe & Effective?
Icariin
– This is an active compound extracted from horny goat weed. Research in the journal of Mediators of Inflammation shows that icariin has a clinically significant therapeutic on rheumatoid. The study also uncovered that icariin suppresses bone loss and prevents joint destruction.
Resveratrol
– This is a highly potent anti-oxidation chemical. It provides the body with a broader spectrum to support the normal inflammatory response and enhance the health of the blood vessels. A study in the Oncotarget journal suggests that resveratrol enhances longevity enzyme activity by promoting healthy cell proliferation [2] .
Omega-3
– Relief Factor contains highly concentrated EPA/DHA. These support the modulation of specific gene expressions associated with normal pain response and promote healing. A 12-week study published in the Global Journal of Health Science suggests that omega-3 fatty acids reduce morning stiffness, joint tenderness, and joint swelling [3] .
Curcumin
– According to the producers, the curcumin in this product has three times the average absorption rate compared to regular curcumin. It’s effective in readily supplying enhanced absorption and bioavailability. Clinical trials in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary &Alternative Medicine demonstrated that curcumin significantly improved joint pain, stiffness, and functionality in patients with osteoarthritis [4] .
NOTE: These ingredients do not have sufficient research to corroborate their effectiveness in reducing inflammation, so keep that in mind.

Relief Factor feedback
I wasn’t going to order it cause I have ordered so many products over the years for back pain & body burning and all doctors want you to do is take more prescription drugs. So what the heck I ordered it and expecting the same results I have with everything else I have tried and was I’m amazed this worked! I’m so glad I decided to order it now it didn’t work the first week, but by the second week I woke up one morning dreading the day and I was pain-free almost didn’t even feel normal cause I haven’t been pain-free in years. I want to thank Pain Relief for giving me a chance at a normal life. I owe you my future.

No more pain from bursitis in my hips or knee pain — I have had right hip bursitis and right knee pain from a torn meniscus for MANY years. My husband bugged me to get a joint supplement, but I would not.
I continued to get cortisone shots for the pain, knowing that this could cause bone damage eventually. I was skeptical initially thinking about the Relief Factor side effects, but I finally relented and ordered 3-week trial.
Yes, I am tired because it was a long day on my feet, but no pain in my knee or hip. For whatever reason, it works for me, and I have every intention of continuing its use. ~ Carla Buras
It Helps!
Thank God for this Relief Factor supplement! I injured the muscles around my left side, rib area, in a fall. For two years, doctors haven’t figured out why I have pain! I was desperate to get the pain under control, so I tried this. So happy I did! My husband says I’m more energetic, which I am! Has to be pain relief! ~ Bonnie Knasel

No More Aches and Pains
As I’ve gotten older, all the little annoying aches and pains have gotten worse and worse, and I was finding it very bothersome. Relief Factor really takes the edge off that discomfort, and I feel much better. This also helps improve my mood!

Amazing Relief Factor
I’ve had arthritis since I was 18 (over 40 years) and developed pinched nerves in my lower back and sciatica through the years. The pain was getting so bad had problems with standing straight and lots of fatigue from the pain. Stairs were becoming a huge problem. Had problems living a normal life, and could only do one thing a day. Had to sleep on the sofa because I couldn’t get up in the morning without some sort of support. I took Relief Factor, and within 2 weeks, the pain is gone. Not saying I don’t get stiff in the morning, but it works off in a short time, but now sleeping in the bed has been great, and no more sofa. Because I can do more things, I sleep better. I’m back to cutting grass, gardening, sewing, and just normal everyday activities. Thank you.

It did work for me!
I have fibromyalgia, back, knee, and shoulder pain. I did the Relief Factor quickstart and felt some relief, so I gave it a few more months, better results. Everyone is different, I saw positive results in a few months. I completely believe in natural pain relief products! I was 58 when I tried it since I had back surgery and have found other supplements won’t work pretty well.

32 years of being in pain are over!
I fell over thirty feet and landed on concrete in 1997. I’ve been off and on pain medication, doing yoga to relieve pain, chiropractor appointments, everything I could think of to relieve this pain. I’ve also continued to work through the years as I own my own business and am on my feet for anywhere from 7-10 hrs a day. When I would get off work I would feel like I had been run over by a truck and I knew I had to do something as I couldn’t go on much longer like this. I had been seeing the Relief Factor commercials and one day it hit me, it’s $20 to try it. What did I have to lose? So I decided to order relief factor and it changed my life! In four days I started noticing a difference and I’ve been pain-free going on three weeks now for the first time in over 30 years! Highly recommended!

About Relief Factor
Have you ever heard the Buddhist proverb “pain is inevitable, suffering is optional”? With Relief Factor supplements, we hope to prove this old adage wrong – who needs to live with suffering or pain?
Relief Factor is a health and wellness brand best known for its trio of products, which the company claims are suited for pain relief, energy, and relaxation.
Unfortunately, there is a high prevalence of chronic pain among older adults. As described in one review article [1] , chronic pain is a major contributor to overall suffering, disability, social isolation, and economic burden. Moreover, chronic pain is a risk factor for cognitive decline and premature death. Available painkillers are only partially effective and have substantial side effects when continuously used. It comes as no surprise that there is a high demand for alternative medicines to mitigate this “pain problem.”
After reading the above information, it will probably come as no surprise that Relief Factor is mainly targeted toward the elderly demographic. If you are curious, take a read, it has been reviewed by countless blogs, including Westword and Nebula.org.
The main question is, “Are you tired of back pain and sleepless nights?” If so, perhaps this supplement brand can provide some relief. As always, talk with a medical professional before taking any supplements.
Trainer’s Tip: consider doing a “pain history inventory.” Look at what you have done for your pain – which practitioners you have spoken to, which treatments you have tried, etc. Take this (along with info on Relief Factor) to a qualified health practitioner and noodle on how the products might help your case. Be an informed consumer.
Stay tuned, as this Relief Factor review will take a closer look at the company, its products, customer ratings, promotions, and more to help you decide if they’re worth checking out.
Overview of Relief Factor
Not much is known about the story behind Relief Factor. Co-founded by Pete and Seth Talbott, this health and wellness brand is presumably headquartered in Kirkland City in Washington state.
You may have seen their s on TV, which feature a few encouraging testimonials about its products. Marketed as safe and effective to use, Relief Factor states that they use 4 primary ingredients within their 3-Week QuickStart medicine, which is formulated by a team of physicians located in the Pacific Northwest.
As a final note, co-owners Pete and Seth Talbott state that it’s normal to feel skeptical when taking their products but promise it’s ultimately worth it in the end. A statement from the brand reads:
“Relief Factor has helped tens of thousands of people struggling with everyday aches and pains. Taken as designed, Relief Factor reduces or eliminates pain all day, every day.”
Trainer’s Tip: Whether or not Relief Factor is for you, never give up hope that there is a solution for your pain. The key to life is realistic expectations. Your pain will probably never be completely eliminated (“body awareness” of some sort does tend to be a “problem of the privilege of being alive”), but you can find something to lessen the duration, frequency, and intensity. You can make it liveable. First, accept your reality. Then find a way forward.

Relief Factor Review
Say goodbye to couch potato days. This health and wellness brand provides the treatments you need to help you get back on your feet. Offered in three different formulas, this Relief Factor review will comb over their products for customers to try out.
Relief Factor QuickStart Review
Not surprisingly, people with chronic pain were significantly less active [2] compared to healthy individuals. No matter the severity, a simple ache can swell into an annoying nudge. The result? Say goodbye to productivity, not to mention exercise. Plus, the less you move and the more pain you are in, the greater the chance you will start to fear movement.
Trainer’s Tip: Here’s a saying we’ll never forget, “chronic pain is depression, and depression is chronic pain.” Over time depression and pain become so entwined that it becomes almost impossible to pull the two apart. Unfortunately, the less you move, the less fit you become, and a low fitness level is typically a disincentive to move. We get it. It is almost impossible to feel peppy when you are in constant discomfort, and it is tough to make yourself do the things that help relieve the symptoms of pain when feeling depressed. It is a vicious cycle. The good news is exercise has been proven to be a helpful intervention [3] for chronic pain. The key is to find ways to break the depression/pain cycle through physical, behavioral, social, and medical interventions [4] .
Enter Relief Factor. Designed for those needing to stay on their toes, the QuickStart treatment is formulated with 4 Relief Factor ingredients to quell discomfort and soreness.
Icariin is an active component of the herb Epimedii (horny goat weed). A literature review [5] published in the European Journal of Pharmacology states that Icariin has anti-oxidative, anti-neuroinflammatory, and anti-apoptotic effects.
What does this mean in English? Icariin helps protect cells from free radical damage, helps prevent cell death, aids in decreasing inflammation in the brain, and has a potentially positive impact on disorders that impact the nervous system [6] , including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis.
In addition, as highlighted in a review article [7] published in Osteoporosis International, this flavonoid has the potential to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis. Lastly, animal studies show that Icariin may be a promising alternative pain killer [8] .
Resveratrol (RV) [9] is a naturally occurring polyphenol. Polyphenols help protect the body’s tissues against oxidative stress and associated pathologies such as cancers, coronary heart disease, and inflammation. Resveratrol possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-tumorigenic, and antioxidant properties, which may be harnessed in strategies against chronic diseases.
Not yet sold? Resveratrol is also associated with slowing down or preventing cognitive deterioration and improving insulin sensitivity (a good thing, especially if you are concerned with warding off or managing type 2 diabetes).
Still not sold? As reported in a literature review [10] , resveratrol induced neurological recovery after central nervous system injuries in animal studies. Meaning that Resveratrol helped the brain recover!
Trainer’s Tip: Want to eat your resveratrol? No problem. Regularly consume grapes, peanuts, berries, and (in moderation) red wine.
Next up, turmeric. Turmeric (curcumin) seems to be all the rage these days. Coffee shops sell turmeric lattes, health food stores sell turmeric teas, and even Laird Hamilton (the famous surfer) has a Turmeric version of his superfoods creamer.
The infusion of turmeric into almost everything is not surprising, considering turmeric [11] has been shown to aid in the “management of oxidative and inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, anxiety, and hyperlipidemia. It may also help in the management of exercise-induced inflammation and muscle soreness, thus enhancing recovery and performance in active people.”
Check out this literature review [12] . It describes the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric and its potential clinical applications in arthritis, inflammatory bowel diseases, osteoarthritis, psoriasis, dermatitis, and pain, including neuropathic pain.
Trainer’s Tip: Want to add turmeric to your diet? Try adding it to smoothies, humous, salad dressing, stir-frys, and/or cauliflower rice.
Lastly, let’s discuss Omega-3 fatty acids. Similar to Icariin, Resveretriol, and Turmeric, Omega-3 fatty acids have proven anti-inflammatory properties, improving cardiovascular and neurological health, and omega-3 supplementation has the potential to significantly reduce pain [13] in patients with osteoarthritis in synovial joints. This study even showed a reduction in neuropathic pain [14] . Larger studies are obviously needed, but the current research is very promising.
According to Relief Factor, this formula was developed by a leading team of naturopathic physicians and medical professionals. Relief Factor claims that it can help reduce pain in the back, knee, neck, shoulder, and hip.
Currently, there are 3 ways to purchase the QuickStart treatment. To keep things easy to read, we’ll provide the details for each option in point-form down below:
- QuickStart treatment (60 ct bag): one-time purchase for one month’s supply, $94
- QuickStart treatment subscription (60 ct bag): monthly deliveries with a free gift included (options range from Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, or the CoQ10 supplement), $80 per shipment
- 3-week QuickStart treatment subscription:
- 49 supplement packs
- Free gift each month
- Anti-inflammation diet booklet
- Costs $20 per shipment
For the 3-week treatment, Relief Factor advises you to take 3 packets a day to help find the right dosage for you. From there, users can adjust from one to two supplements going forward.
And as always, we recommend consulting with a physician first before making any changes to your diet.
Trainer’s Tip: Do you move your body regularly? We’re not talking about “high intensity, work it till you cry” activities like Crossfit or running. We mean gentle walking and mind/body activities such as yoga and Pilates. Movement has been shown to be a potential successful intervention [15] for chronic pain management. If you are suffering from chronic pain and not moving, try starting small. Make a goal of ten minutes of walking a day or 10 minutes of restorative yoga. Break the fear factor. Progress appropriately.
Relief Factor Calm Review
Nothing is more irritating than a sleepless night. Aside from tossing and turning, our gremlins tend to come out at night. Our 3 am self is either inundated with negative self-talk or a marathon of nonsensical thoughts. “Why do people say chai tea instead of chai? Why do we bake cookies and cook bacon?” No one needs the 3 am monkey mind.
According to Relief Factor, their Calm treatment quiets down those fumbling notions, as it’s intended to relax the mind, body, and soul. This nifty treatment is ideal for reducing stress and adrenaline and acts as a stand-in for melatonin tablets.
This is thanks to its superhero duo of ingredients, which includes phosphatidylserine and passionflower extract. Together, these additives help moderate cortisol levels while strengthening the central nervous system.
It makes sense that passion flower would be included in a product sold to promote calmness and aid sleep. It’s regularly used to fight anxiety, aid restorative sleep, support pain management, reduce menopausal symptoms, and manage attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
A systematic review [16] published in Nutrients evaluated the effect of passionflower extract in neuropsychiatric patients. (Neuropsychiatric is a broad term that includes issues such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD). The results? Passionflower extract may help reduce symptoms in neuropsychiatric patients with no adverse events. How does it work? (In scientific terms, what is its “mechanism of action [17] ”?) In short, “GABA,” aka the principal inhibitory neurotransmitter of the brain (in English, GABA [16] helps to counter neurotransmitters that cause excitement, which typically has a calming effect).
The last ingredient is Phosphatidylserine, which supports normal cognitive functions [18] . For example, it helps in the formation of short-term memories, aids the consolidation of long-term memory, and supports the ability to learn, retrieve information, and concentrate.
The Calm supplements come with a free 60-day supply. As an added cherry on top, customers are also treated to complimentary shipping and handling. Helping you dream faster, this treatment costs $22, compared to its original price of $29.
Relief Factor Energy Review
Ah, the third cup of coffee. For most, it’s a necessary dosage to kickstart the day. For some, it’s a guilt-inducing reminder to lay off the caffeine. If you’re looking to curb your Arabica binge, the Energy supplements are offered as a natural way to ‘generate buzz’.
Introducing a blend of taurine, vitamin B-complex, and a bit of caffeine, Relief Factor claims that this treatment does the most in absorbing key nutrients while enhancing physical performance. Other ingredients include folate, biotin, and choline, which are vital in regulating your circulatory system.
Let’s go through the ingredients list. Taurine is a common ingredient in energy drinks. As described in this literary review [19] , taurine is an amino acid with antioxidant properties (Antioxidants are molecules that fight free radicals in your body, which are linked to multiple illnesses, including diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.) Taurine also helps keep calcium levels stable. Taurine could potentially be beneficial for preventing and treating cardiovascular disease and is also used in energy drinks to neutralize the effects of caffeine [20] excess.
A review article [21] published in Practical Neurology highlights that caffeine increases alertness, helps concentration, improves mood, and limits depression. Moreover, it has proven pain-relieving properties, especially for treating headaches and migraine.
As of lately, the Energy supplements are offered in three different pricing options. This includes:
- 1 Relief Factor supplement bottle: $35 (one-time purchase)
- 3 bottles: $30 (one-time purchase)
- 6 bottles: $25 (one-time purchase)
Who Is Relief Factor For?
A simple gloss through their social media tells you that this pharmaceutical brand is marketed for the middle-aged to elderly demographic.
Although there are no age restrictions written on their supplements, it does make sense that the company markets to and showcases older customers. As we grow older, we’re more at risk for joint pain, loss of energy, and increased stress.
Since Relief Factor is primarily sold online, customers don’t need to worry about visiting their local pharmacy. Instead of purchasing supplements individually, buyers can opt for their subscription plan, which provides a monthly delivery of capsules before you start to run out.
Comparison: Relief Factor vs. Balance of Nature
Inflammation response medication is definitely not new. In fact, if you’re a regular visitor of Honest Brand Reviews, you’ve probably familiar with a few supplement brands already.
With that in mind, how does Relief Factor size up to its competition? To help readers answer that question, we’ve decided to look at another company: Balance of Nature.
Down below, this Relief Factor review has compiled a shortlist of similarities and differences between these two brands. So what company deserves to fill your pill organizer? Let’s find out.
- Offers supplements for pain relief, exhaustion, and stress
- Provides a subscription plan for most of their products
- Reasonably priced
- Does not offer international shipping
- Limited customer reviews
Balance of Nature:
- Offers nutritional supplements made out of fruit and vegetables
- Also provides a subscription plan for customers to opt for
- Pricier compared to Relief Factor
- Has a health coaching service on their website
- More customer reviews
After reflection, it is almost impossible to crown a winner; it would be like comparing apples to peanut butter. These two brands are entirely different, as Relief Factor is designed to provide pain relief while Balance of Nature provides nutritional boosts.
If we were to size up the company in terms of perks (vs. the product), Balance of Nature takes the cake. Customers can access their additional services, such as the health coaching program, on their website. We suggest that Relief Factor should build in more online support, coaching, accountability options, etc.
Relief Factor Reviews: What Do Customers Think?
In the previous segment, we learned that Balance of Nature deserves a spot in your bathroom cabinet. With that in mind, can Relief Factor out beat this nutritional brand in terms of online reviews? There’s only one way to find out. We’ve searched far and wide to see what customers are really saying about this pharmaceutical company.
“I heard about Relief Factor from my wife…I took it every day, three times a day. I woke up, rolled over and told her ’The pain is gone!’” one customer detailed on their website.
“This is an AMAZING product which has saved me from having a second hip surgery,” one reviewer wrote for the 3-Week Relief Factor quick start treatment. “If I had known about it sooner, perhaps it would have kept me from having BOTH knees and my right hip replaced.”
While there are little to no review forums posted for Relief Factor products, we did find a couple of blogs that critiqued this brand. According to Nebula.org, the QuickStart treatment earns a total of 4/5 stars for its results, scientific claims, and overall cost.
On the other hand, the blog site The Wellness Verge gave a mediocre rating of 3/5 stars. While the author gave credit to the efficacy of the formulas, they noted the potential of side effects—which was coupled with its high prices and non-existent, money-back guarantee.
“The product requires a person to take 2 pills per day indefinitely and is expensive compared to other joint health supplements. But if you’re in the market for a joint health supplement that has a nice blend of well-researched ingredients, perhaps Relief Factor is worth a try,” reads the Relief Factor review by The Wellness Verge.
Based on a review posted by Phactual.com, the article posited a critical question. Is Relief Factor snake oil? According to their research, this online company isn’t guilty of false advertising. We did find some controversy about this supplement brand. A Relief Factor was under fire for misleading claims in an FTC-related complaint.
In a particular segment, their products were endorsed by a celebrity. More specifically, a former Trump administration official—Sebastian Gorka—was named a doctor, even though he didn’t hold a medical degree.
The negativity doesn’t stop there, as the Better Business Bureau holds over 35 complaints with a 1.68/5 star rating. In addition, a majority of customers complained of its deceptive ordering process and ineffective products.
Based on what we’ve gathered so far, this Relief Factor is wary of recommending this brand. This is partially due to the lack of testimonials online. Coupled with its past controversy and poor ratings on BBB, this company might be one to skip.
Is Relief Factor Worth It?
With thousands of supplement brands out there, Relief Factor seems to pale in comparison. Aside from their limited inventory, I wasn’t sold on the efficacy of their formulas. While I’m sure that some customers found success, there’s not much information as to how their additives work.
On top of that, Relief Factor scores low when it comes to credibility. There’s not a lot to learn from the dismal amount of reviews online. And so far, early signs aren’t promising due to the company’s past controversy.
Overall, this Relief Factor review suggests that you opt for a different supplement brand. It’s best to have a checklist at hand when shopping; if the company in question values transparency, cost-effectiveness, and its online reputation, chances are that it’s a keeper.
Relief Factor Promotions & Discounts
Customers can save a bit of money by signing up for the brand’s subscription plans. As of lately, this Relief Factor review hasn’t come across a promotion or discount code, but we suggest keeping an eye on their social media pages for any future updates.
